Once you have been selected as a National Evaluator for the Foundation, your commitments are as follows:
  • Attendance of a pre-evaluator training course to prepare you for evaluator training

  • Completion of a 'Case Study' prior to attending the three day National Evaluator training

  • Training on the Criteria for Performance Excellence to build the ability to understand and evaluate an organisation against the criteria

  • Independent evaluation and written review of one National Business Excellence Award Applicant

  • Consensus of the evaluation, this involves meeting with you team of other National Evaluators and reaching consensus on the Applicant's strengths, opportunities for improvement as well as issues to explore during site visit

  • Site Visit to the Applicant and review all finding made during the independent and consensus process of the evaluation

  • A Feedback Report is then written to provide the Applicant with understanding of the evaluation teams finding

  • Awards improvement includes reviewing the awards process and identifying improvement opportunities for the following year

  • Personal feedback from the evaluation team who provide confidential feedback on your performance in the team
