Established in 1992, the New Zealand Business Excellence Foundation was founded by public and private enterprise to improve the overall performance of New Zealand organisations. Originally established as the National Quality Awards Foundation, NZBEF was set up to run the premier business excellence awards in New Zealand.
From these early days, the Foundation has evolved into what it is today – a membership-based organisation that provides support, training, tools and resources, to support New Zealand organisations to achieve world-class levels of performance.
