Business Excellence Foundation

The New Zealand Business Excellence Foundation administers the US Baldrige criteria in New Zealand.

This internationally recognised and respected framework is used in over 70 countries worldwide and is based on extensive research on the common characteristics found in top performing organisations. The criteria is an evidence-based, non prescriptive "total quality management" model, guiding organisations towards developing a continuous improvement culture and identifying opportunities for improvement.

“I see the Baldrige process as a powerful set of mechanisms for disciplined people engaged in disciplined thought and taking disciplined action to create great organisations that produce exceptional results.” – Jim Collins, best-selling author of Good to Great and Why Some Companies Make the Leap… and Others Don’t
